Congratulations Mary Simon!

Governor General’s Northern Medal

Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami President Mary Simon was awarded the Governor General's Northern Medal this week. The award, created in 2005 by former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson, recognizes Mary Simon's outstanding contribution and commitment to assuring social justice for Inuit in Canada's northern communities.
